Ken Mayeaux has been practicing law since 1986. After representing corporations in federal and state court litigation for more than 10 years, Mr. Mayeaux set out to serve the Latin American community, first as a missionary in Mexico, and later, as an immigration detention chaplain in Arizona. In 2007, he returned to law practice as an immigration attorney at Catholic Charities in Baton Rouge, and later, he served as a professor of law at LSU Law School in Baton Rouge. Finally, in 2014 he founded Mayeaux & Associates L.C.
Since turning to immigration law more than 16 years ago, Mr. Mayeaux has always had ONE MISSION: To help immigrants and their families build new lives in the United States. With a 100% bilingual team of six attorneys and 22 staff, Mayeaux & Associates assists immigrant families with their legal needs, beginning with immigration issues like deportation and family immigration, and extending to other legal challenges our clients often face, like car accidents, work accidents, criminal defense, divorce, and orders of protection from domestic abuse.
